"Sunset on the Lake" is a limited edition serigraph on paper by Zina Rothman, numbered and hand signed by the artist! Measures approx. 30" x 21" (border), 25.5" x 18.5" (image).
Zina Rothman delivers her personal style while staying unique while painting classical landscapes, still lifes or associative images blended with lyrical dreams and mysticism. Rothman was born in 1944 in Moldavia, which at that time was still a part of the Soviet Union. At the ‘Academy of Art’ in Kishenev she studied classical drawing, painting and graphics. Her approach to art was inspired by greats such as Vasarely, Matisse, Picasso and Chagall. Japanese art also captured her interest. In 1974, Rothman moved to Israel. She spent twelve years focusing on aquarelle techniques and developing new methods of toning and shading. Using shiny tones, Rothman creates a glossy hue; and using a pastel palette, she produces a matt one. All the while, she gives her colors a transparency and clarity, crafting a quality of sharpness and vividness into the drawing. Aside from painting original works, she also experiments with graphic techniques. Rothman has found great success with silkscreen serigraphs in which she utilizes a specialized gouache technique to carry out the graphical work. Her pieces have been shown in numerous exhibitions in various Israeli galleries.

QART ships to the 50 United States via UPS or USPS. As UPS does not ship to them, orders with P.O. Box addresses may be held until a street address is obtained and will be cancelled if a street address cannot be obtained within a reasonable time. QART reserves between 3 - 8 business days for an order to ship from our Los Angeles based warehouse. Once approved, customer service will provide you with your RMA number and return instructions. To expedite your return, please print the RMA number on the outside of the return packaging.
