Vintage 1999 Starbucks Mug - Artwork and Signed By Gary Trudeau

A rare find Starbucks mug, artwork and signed by Doonesbury creator/artist-Gary Trudeau.

So many clever images on this ceramic mug! We see our hero Doonesbury piloting a propeller plane through the clouds.

The plane's nose is painted with a Starbucks siren as its mascot, and three coffee cups stamped under the window.

The words on the side facing the right handed holder read "Clouds in his Coffee", and on the handle it says, " Cleared for Buzz".

It's printed with 1999 G B Trudeau Starbucks Coffee Company in small green letters near the right side of the handle

and Trudeau's signature is printed on the bottom near left side of the handle.

It measures approx. 4 3/8" tall and 6" wide including handle
