Vintage 1985 Norman Rockwell Museum collector's mug – “Looking Out To Sea” from the beloved grandfather-grandson series.

This charming scene depicts a weathered sea captain (grandfather) standing with his young grandson and their loyal dog on a rocky coastal outcrop, gazing toward distant ships on the horizon. The boy dreams of his own seafaring adventures, just like his father and grandfather before him. A timeless Rockwell illustration capturing family bonds and wanderlust.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or stains. The scene's colors are vibrant and unfaded. Gold rims show only very light, superficial wear from gentle use (minimal thinning in spots, but still shiny and intact – much better than average for 40-year-old pieces). Interior and handle are pristine.
