"Making Connections" is an original acrylic painting on canvas by George Marlowe, hand signed by the artist. This piece comes gallery wrapped. Includes Letter of Authenticity. Measures approx. 36" x 24" (image).

From a family of artists, George Marlowe naturally fell in love with art as a child. George started off as a self-taught painter in the 1960s, and by the 1970s, he was developing art and craft products for Mattel, Ceramichrome and the art and craft division of General Mills.

During his employment at Ceramichrome, he got his education in ceramics, developing a line of once fired ceramic craft products for the mass market called, "BisqueKits". For a year, George had the honor of working for some of the finest and most highly regarded ceramists in the world. He says it was an education "that you couldn't pay for."

He was reintroduced to ceramics in the '80s when a friend was taking a ceramics class at a local recreation center and the teacher invited George to stay and create some pieces. That morning, George created his first two masques and knew that "masques of clay" were his immediate calling.

George devoted the next several years to his masques. When the perfect natural studio space became available, he jumped at the opportunity, becoming totally immersed in masque making. He has since moved to a studio in Marina Del Rey.

QART ships to the 50 United States via UPS or USPS. As UPS does not ship to them, orders with P.O. Box addresses may be held until a street address is obtained and will be cancelled if a street address cannot be obtained within a reasonable time. QART reserves between 3 - 8 business days for an order to ship from our Los Angeles based warehouse. If no shipping confirmation is received by the 8th business day, please contact us for more information.

Returning Merchandise/RMA Requests

All requests for returns must be made within 15 days of the item's receipt. You must obtain a valid RMA number from QART before returning your merchandise. To obtain a RMA #, please email your username, the auction listing number, and reason for return to: qart@propertyroom.com
Once approved, customer service will provide you with your RMA number and return instructions. To expedite your return, please print the RMA number on the outside of the return packaging.
