Executive Management

Thomas Lane, company founder and a Board Member, is a graduate of St. John’s University. Mr. Lane has extensive management experience both domestically and internationally. He has held senior executive positions in such diverse industries as manufacturing, distribution, retailing and franchise development. Prior to forming PropertyRoom.com, Mr. Lane was a managing principal and shareholder of Lane Brothers & Company, Inc, an investment advisory firm. Early in his career Mr. Lane served as a police officer and detective of the Long Beach, New York Police Department.

PJ brings 20 years experience from a handful of start-up and Fortune 500 companies. Prominent among his start-up experiences, Mr. Bellomo held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Commerce5, Inc., which he and his fellow management team members sold to Digital River in 2005. Previously, he held various ecommerce, supply chain, and consulting positions at Avnet, Inc. AD Little, iSuppli and Vcommerce. As his first assignment following graduate school, PJ worked as an engineer at a GE facility in Upstate NY. Mr. Bellomo earned both his BS and MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Kevin P. Lane, Chairman of the Board and a founding shareholder. Mr. Lane is also the founding shareholder and President of Lane Brothers & Company, Inc. an investment advisory firm.

Mark T. Boyer, a Board Member, is a founder and principal of ROI Partners, an investment advisory firm based in Larkspur, California. Mr. Boyer has spent most of his working career in investment management.

Steven Lupinacci, a Board Member and former CEO, is an entrepreneur with more than 25 years experience in operating and advising companies in a wide variety of sizes and industries. Following a successful career as a Partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Steve has been an investor in emerging businesses, often taking an active role during the critical growth phase.

Jason Schoettler, a Board Member, is a principal at Shea Ventures, where he has worked with the portfolio of venture capital funds and direct investments since early 2002. In addition to PropertyRoom.com, he serves on the board of Mariposa Biotechnology as well as the advisory board of Salt Creek Ventures. Previously, Jason served as product manager at Oak Grove Systems. Jason started his career as a consultant with Ernst & Young where he spent over a year working at HP on the divestiture and IPO of Agilent Technologies. Jason graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame and earned an MBA from Claremont Graduate University’s Drucker School of Management.

Andrew M. Seybold, a Board Member, is founder and principal of Andrew Seybold, Inc. and one of the most respected and influential champions of mobile wireless innovation. Since 1983, he has served as an analyst, consultant, commentator, author, and active participant in industry organizations. Mr. Seybold serves on a number of advisory boards including Motorola's prestigious Visionary Research Council. Mr. Seybold is a frequent speaker at industry events such as CES and CTIA Wireless, and at corporate events for Fortune 1000 companies. In 2000, he was elected a Fellow in the Radio Club of America.

Advisory Board

Daryl F. Gates, a senior advisor to the company and an Advisory Board Member, is a nationally known law enforcement officer. In his 43 years of service with the Los Angeles Police Department, Mr. Gates served in every rank, retiring after fourteen years of service as Chief of Police. Mr. Gates is widely recognized for his innovative approach to law enforcement. In his tenure as Chief, he organized the nation’s first SWAT team. He was also the founder of DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), an organization now active in all fifty states and several foreign countries. Mr. Gates’ responsibilities with Property Room are business development with police and sheriff departments nationally.

Stephen Downing, an Advisory Board Member, is a retired deputy chief of the LAPD and a renowned Hollywood writer-producer. Steve became a writer of 100's of hours of prime time television while still working as a police officer.

Joe Latta, an Advisory Board Member, is the Executive Director of the International Association of Property and Evidence (IAPE), an organization devoted to education and training related to all aspects of handling, storage, maintenance and disposal of law enforcement held property and evidence.

Michael S. Malone, an Advisory Board Member, is former Editor of the prestigious Forbes ASAP, and also writes a weekly column on abcnews.com called “The Silicon Insider”. One of the best known experts and writers on high technology trends, Malone was the nation’s first daily newspaper high tech reporter, writing for the San Jose Mercury News.

Charles Mattes, an Advisory Board Member, retired as Assistant Chief of the New York City Police Department in 1998 after a career spanning 24 years.

Don E. Nickelson, an Advisory Board Member, is the retired President of PaineWebber Group Inc. Currently Mr. Nickelson is the Vice Chairman of Harbour Group Industries, an investment and management company that has bought, sold or managed over 130 different companies during the last two decades.
